I live in a rent in NYC and have a really monotonous light in my kitchen, which even an electrician could not get off the ceiling without breaking … So I gave up replacing it right after moving in. The “installation” (installation makes it much more involved than it is) lasted 10 minutes, and this includes removing the box, the command strip that has the ring on the ceiling and then popping the magnetic color on the spot. (To be honest, what brought me the longest was to fish my step stool from the depths of my scrap.) Not only the shadow itself, but the diffuse light is simply so soft and pretty. I can't wait to get another one for my entrance !!! “
