We don't want to be the wearer of bad news, but your choice for the color selection of bathrooms can be officially passé.
On the persecution of the perfect idea of the bathroom color, we are familiar with the rapidly moving trend cycle in the design world. As hot as it may be, a year can be just as easy … not.
Color trends in bathroom design are usually a bit slower, but reflect the wider movements and shifts indoors, especially when it comes to color. What is for 2025? Well, in search of comfort in our houses, we wave to cool, hard tones and materials and greeted natural materials and earthy colors with open arms.
As Romain Freychet, co -founder of Trone Paris, says: “We believe that color is the easiest way to change the bathroom from purely functional to really emotionally.” So, that's how you can do it for this year.
1. Pastel pink

If there was a color that encapsulated the cultural mood of the 2010s for bathroom ideas, it is baby pink. The sweet pepto bismol color was difficult to escape, so much that he deserved the title “Millennial Pink”. But now, a decade from the peak of the pastel vorance position, our experts are ready to see how a new color takes its place.
“Pink had a nice run in bathroom design, soft, romantic and undeniably instagratable,” begins Grazzie Wilson, head of creative at Ca'Pietra, “but in 2025 we see a clear withdrawal of pastels in bathroom design.”
Despite all the beautiful pink bathroom ideas that we have seen in recent years, we cannot help but feel that the trend is going beyond its heyday. Two years after the barbie core obsession that the nations grasped, Pink has lost his shock factor and is expected instead.
The color also contradicts the renewed interest in natural materials. Homeowners and interior designers make an increased meaning to present beautiful, natural materials in their bathroom designs. And as much fun it may be, it's anything but natural.

“Navy had his moment and for a good reason it is brave, brooding and effortlessly chic,” says Sally Bettison, design manager at Tissino. “But in 2025 the bathroom design moves in a warmer, grounded direction,” she explains.
While experts have celebrated this depths, Inky Blue color, especially for small bathroom ideas, due to its ability to create a feeling of jewelry in a dainty space, believe that our shifting, natural tones leave this color in the past.
Instead, Sally predicts that we will paint our bathrooms in tones that reflect the natural world and create a more relaxed, grounded feeling in their home. “If you plan a refreshment, you step off the cool and look at a color story that feels, layered and deeply inviting,” says Sally.

Another victim of the cultural change in the direction of warmer, soft tones does not expect our experts that shiny black bathrooms appear in many designs this year.
“Not only a color, but also a finish, shiny black is definitely a color that we say goodbye in 2025,” says Lidia Kane, design manager at Multipanel. “High shine is out and instead homeowners long for drama with a softer finish, which is why matte, structural surfaces are becoming increasingly popular,” she explains.
Natural materials such as marble or granite are of course rich in texture and give your bathroom a beautifully tactile element. “These surfaces offer the same depth and mood as black, but with a grounded, tactile feeling. It is less about a high gloss contrast and rather about creating a space that takes into account, feels cokonal and effortlessly in a contemporary manner,” says Lidia.

4. Everything knows everything
Do instead: “If you are still attracted to the freshness of white, you should use them as a subtle basis – think of marble tiles with boldness, in the creamy scenery with honey or deep brown tones. It is an elegant way to maintain brightness and give your scheme depth and nuance,” says Keeley Sutcliffe.

Our experts of one of the most hottest design styles say that 2025 will see the official fall of all white bathrooms. Loved by some for elegant minimalism and from others for his tendency to look sterile, monochromatic white bathrooms became a blueprint for bathroom design in the 2000s.
“While we move through 2025, the era of strong, bright white bathrooms gives way to rooms that feel warmer, richer and more characterful,” argues Keeley Sutcliffe, design manager at BC Designs. “While white has been traditionally valued for its clean, minimalist appearance, it can often act as cold and clinically – especially in smaller bathrooms, in which its cool undertones can actually flatten out the room instead of opening it,” she explains.
Romain, the master of the colorful bathroom, agrees and says: “The purely white, purely functional bathroom loses the soil, and that's a good thing. It is time to bring emotions, personality and beauty into this room too often.”
He continues: “Some colors feel less relevant today. Cold gray tones or ultra -clinic white tend to remove the character. In contrast, we see a growing appetite for richer, expressive colors.”

Palazzo Oro Marble was sanded
Price: £ 6.40/ per sample
Green and gold paths prevent this marble from appearing too hard, ideal for those who want the crispness of a white stone without sterility.
While our experts officially described these colors, they don't lose all hope. Some classic bathroom designs can never go out of fashion, like an elegant spa bathroom, or for something else we are obsessed with the trend of the fabric bath.
