Many people love to decorate the interior of their house and the front yard in honor of Halloween, but when it comes to this kind of seasonal decor, professionals have strong opinions about what they should issue and what they should skip. Many beloved Halloween decorations that have been read as sticky interior designers say, and they are better to avoid them completely. Nevertheless, there are still many creative approaches that you can follow to stylishly decorate the season and vacation.

Neon or colorful signs
Many interior designers are not big fans of garden signs, but according to Audrey Check, the founder of Audrey Check Design, they will stay particularly colored from every neon or cheap.
“These often compete with the natural tones of a house and can lose weight of the cozy, layered atmosphere we want to create,” says Scheck.
It is wiser to stay in a color palette that complements the outer and natural environment of your house – think of earthy, warm tones that reflect the landscape and the colors around you.

Plastic decorations

Check is also not a supporter of decoration for the holidays with plastic accents and finds that they often do not last from one year to the next.
“We prefer parts that feel permanently and thoughtful,” she says.
Your best alternative? Woven some natural elements into your Halloween display such as pumpkins and wreaths that shares designers – according to all, these are classic for a certain reason! This is also a more sustainable approach.

Sure, small children may be wild for inflatable boats, but that doesn't mean that they should put them in their garden. Stephanie Brown, the founder of Saint Louise Design, looks at a courtyard full of inflatable decor than at the top of her list, which does not come to Halloween, and notices that this “quickly chaotic,” she says. If you really have to include one to satisfy your children, choose it carefully, she suggests.
“The key is to choose an inflatable high impact instead of having it taken over,” says Brown.
Include too many topics
Just as you would not try to accept too many different topics in the normal year, you shouldn't try this during the Halloween season, Brown indicates. However, she notes that many people will follow this approach, especially if he refers to her external exhibition.
“Witches, clowns, aliens and cartoon characters in a courtyard simply feel diselacted,” says the designer.
If you consider this the right time to play favorites, Brown adds and explains that you really don't want to edit and land more than two topics for your display.
Colored cobwebs
Brown says she hasn't seen how colored cobwebs really shine in every garden.
“No matter how you stretch them, neonorange or light green nets always look wrong,” she says.
Nevertheless, decorating with cobwebs in your book is still a completely fair game. Just remember to become neutral. “I would stick to classic white if you love the look,” says Brown.
Throw pillow

“They are sticky, fight with other decorations and finally become out of fashion,” she says.
There is nothing wrong with choosing colored or patterned pillows with seasonal designs and calling it a day – just skip the words!
