Autumn is officially here. The leaves turn, the air cools and they probably spend more cozy days at home. So if you plan to spend more time in the interior this season, it may be the perfect opportunity to give your room a little update. But where should you start? Start with new accessories. Here are seven decorative stalls interior designers love this autumn.
Wireless lamps
Most designers will tell you that lighting layers are always in style. But what should you do if you don't have a plug in the perfect place? Get a cordless lamp. According to Gray Joyner from Gray Joyner Interiors, these are becoming increasingly popular and accessible. “One of my favorite decorations have been cordless lamps lately,” she says. “In autumn everything revolves around warm, cozy, flexible lighting, and these lamps check so many boxes. You can move them from a side table to a bookshelf, from interiors to the veranda or the terrace, without effort.”
The designer likes to style them in places where you usually don't find a lamp. “Since there is no cords, you can hide them in unexpected places like in a dark corner, hidden on a low shelf or on plants when the mood or the occasion changes,” she says. “I am looking for lamps with dimmability and color temperature control or color -modified ability.”
Berry branch
Move with brochure grass. Isabelle Guay, founder of Flow Smart Living + Interiors, tells me that Berry branches are the hot appearance for autumn. “They go with the beautiful color trends of dark red, purple and brown,” she says. “Of course you can, but also artificial, depending on your taste.”
As far as these beauties are concerned, she likes to use a vase as a heart on her dining or coffee table. “Depending on the look you want to achieve, you can use one or two branches for a minimal look or a full bouquet for a greater effect,” she says.
Small artificial frame
Would you like to create a small but chic moment in style in autumn? Paulina Carcach from Paulina Carcach Studio notes that small artificial frames that are placed on runs go perfectly with it. “They really catch me up. I love how they give a room a curated, historic feeling,” she says. “For styling, a single frame feels more deliberate, perfect for a focus.”
While there are many options out there, the designer shows that wood or painted surfaces bring both texture and heat. “Oking to works of art such as nature -supplied paintings or photography that reflect the earthy organic tones.”
Fringes and other cladding
This autumn, Russell Goldman from more WoW design is located in pieces that offer a little more, such as: B. a chic disguise. “This autumn we see an evolution of the glamor that reflects the contrasts and tensions with which many of us live today,” he says. “With more WoW, I research more daring pass formation fony, tassels, braids and furry-inspired ability, but to combine them with grounded, weighty and comfortable elements,” he says.
Statement Bowls
Would you like to decorate with something you already have? Samantha Arak from Samantha Carey Interiors suggests podium bowls and low round melting shells, especially those who are cut with a branch of green or red. “Perfect in the kitchen or in the dining table for dining room and are perfect for keeping fresh fruit and keeping healthy snacks in sight,” she says. “The base is fairly easy to find and inexpensive, and if you combine two similar shapes together, you offer more visual punch in this case.”
Velvet and bouclé pads
Susan Petrie from Petrie Interior Designs tells me that Velvet and Bouclé pads are calm luxury clips that you like to mix with classics such as heritage flowers and plaid this season. “It is a really nice balance to be up to date and yet timeless,” she says. “I encourage customers to merge these looks through upholstery or textiles that refresh a room without completely overhaul. This season I have tried statement padding in saturated tones such as a Goldenrod Mohair sofa, which immediately increases the room.”
Antiquity and collected pieces
What is new again this season, and antiquity and collected pieces are at the forefront for Gray Benko and Chelcie Eastman, interior designers and co -founders of Gray Benko Home. “Autumn is the perfect time to bring in pieces with history. Integrate weathered tables, worn leather chairs and art, which looks like it has been handed over for generations,” says Benko. “These give immediate warmth and character and work beautiful in every season.”
While there are many ways to style this type of piece, Benko and Eastman recommend layers of a rustic wooden side table next to a clean sofa or to serve an antique breast as a bar station for holiday celebrations.
