Interior design: Have Design and Construction
Houzz announced Houzz the Best of Houzz 2025 Awards, which celebrates the most popular designs and home professionals. With 65 million home owners and design enthusiasts in his community as well as 3 million residential and design experts, Houzz tends to predict trends closely, so I am always looking forward to their announcements. The many 2025 trends that are reflected in the Houzz Awards include Kitchen functions that improve entertainment, inviting home offices, powder rooms, quiet places and much more.
Houzz gave me photos of some of the award-winning designs and comments from a Houzz expert who explains the trends of the interior. (Note: The name of the Houzz award winner is under every photo.)
Calm places
Designer: Ked Interiors
Many areas of a house are devoted to busy tasks and routines. “That is why it is important to have a space that has no activity – A quiet place to relax, nap, read a book or just sit in silence in a moment of reflection, ”says Houzz's Mitchel Parker. “A comfortable sofa or a bench near a window works wellPresent Or choose a shady place with comfortable furniture outdoors to enjoy the sights, noises and smells of nature. “
Kitchen features that improve entertainment
Designer: Gloribell LeBron (G. LeBron Interiors)
Many Houzz home owners are looking for kitchens with functions that improve entertainment. “An extra long island with seating with a counter and a slanted dining table with seating with face to face is the perfect recipe, and we see both on Houzz and among the winners of the Best of Houzz photos,” says Parker. TTE HOUUUzz Kitchen Trends Report shows what else is hot in kitchen designs.
Home bars or beverage stations
Interior design: Have Design and Construction
Another popular iInterior design trend in 2025: beverage cupboards and coffee bars with which the guests (and children) could take a drink without standing in the way of the cook in the main part of the kitchen.
Powder rooms, the pops
Designer/builder: Frankel Design Build
If you want to start the guests, Parker recommends making a strong design jump into the powder room. “It will create an intimate little moment of the surprise that can be a stylish deviation from the rest of the house,” he explains. “A dramatic wallpaper and vanity combination is a steady approach.”
Invite home offices
Designer:
Regardless of whether you work from home or only need a place where you can concentrate on taxes, invoices or budgets, Parker says that a home office is a must to organize and stay with the task. “Designers from HOUUUzz recommend equipping these rooms with integrated memory, comfortable furniture and stylish colors and decorating in order to create an inviting atmosphere for adapting work,” he says.
Many seating in the living room
Designer: Lauren Debello Interiors
If you are entertained, make sure that all your guests have a place to sit. According to Parker, the key to every gathering is a living room with a variety of seating options that range from sofas to chair to the Ottomans/chair. Smart Entertaining Solutions is a trend that also appeared in the HOUUUZZ Emerging Winter Trends report.
Outdoor entertainment areas
Altera Landscape, Designer: AMS Landscape Design Inc.
With outdoor areas you can increase your entertaining options. “An outdoor setup with rooms for lazing, food, cooking and television maximizes home.” Parker says.
Hardworking mudroom storage
Designer: Ellie Mroz Design
The right mudroom keeps all of the way to follow dirt, mud, snow and sand in your home. “With proper storage – lockers, shelves, hooks and cabins – a mudroom can also help to reduce the disorder in Yur,” says Parker.
Spacious showers with a low curp
Revision design/conversion
Create more versatility in the bathroom with a spacious shower with a low curp. “Compared to entry into a tub, it is much easy to enter and leave,” says Parker. “A shower with a low curp shower also creates a light and airy look and helps not bring the water into the ground floor of the bathroom,” he explains.
Wooden tables
Builder: PRM Custom Builder, Architect: Brian Neeper
The bathrooms usually include a lot of TLLE and metal surfaces. This combination can be beautiful, the bathrooms can also look quite cold. According to Parker, a wooden gear table can give the room heat and make it a popular interor design trend.
Relaxing bedroom
Designer: You from the World LLC
At the end of a strenuous day, Mitchell says that homeowners want a relaxing bedroom to retire. A calming color palette and a soft, comfortable bed linen help to achieve a relaxing appearance.
