LG Electronics Australia has announced the start of four new Ultragear Gaming monitors, which is addressed by what it is described as the first 45-inch 5k2K OLED display in the world. The new monitors can pre-order over the LG online shop from April 10 to April 24th.
The flagship model, the LG Ultragear 45GX950A-B.Aau, has an OLED panel of 5K2K (5120×2160) with an aspect ratio of 21: 9 and an 800R curvature. According to the company, it offers “a 34% wider view as a standard -16: 9 displays and an increase in the number of pixels of pixels compared to UHD (3840×2160)”.
The display, which according to the LG is “built on the OLED leadership of LG”, also includes the micro -liveline array+ (MLA+) technology, so that compared to previous models it provides a lighter SDR output of up to 37.5%. The company adds that it achieves a top brightness of 1300 nits (APL 1.5%) and maintains the color accuracy of Delta e ≦ 2.
The 45GX950A develops for game performance and supports dual mode operation, so that users can change between the WUHD resolution at 165Hz and WFHD at 330 Hz. LG states that this enables the players to “optimize the performance for different play genres by switching between high -resolution and high -resolution modes”. It also has a response time of 0.03 ms.
The monitor includes connectivity via DisplayPort 2.1 and USB-C with 90 W power supply. Integrated 10W x 2 stereo speakers with a rich bass and DTS headphones: X -Support aim to improve the audio experience, whereby LG positions this as an advantage in genres such as FPS, in which sound notes and communication are of crucial importance.
With regard to the display quality, the Panel Vesa DisplayHDR True Black 400 offers a contrast ratio of 1.5 m: 1 and a DCI-P3 98.5% typical color thirty. “Experience an unprecedented depth and a lively realism,” says LG, adding that the anti-blender technology of UL is certified to blind, uncomfortable and poorly blue light.
Other characteristics are a 125 PPI pixel density, an adaptable OLED protection settings via on-screen display and ergonomic adjustments for inclination, height and swivel joint. The “practically borderless” design and the space-saving L-stand of the screen also aim to support minimalist setups.

The 27G850A-B.Aau is a 27-inch 4K UHD monitor with Nano Ips Black Technology, 240Hz update rate and 1 ms (GTG) reaction. It has a double mode support for switching between 4k 240 Hz and Full HD 480Hz modes.
The 39GX90SAAU and 34GX90SAUAU are curved OLED monitors with 240 Hz update rates and webos functions, so that access to streaming apps and cloud games can be made possible without the need for a separate PC or a separate console.
Each model supports DisplayHDR True Black 400 and has LGS response time of 0.03 ms (GTG) for minimal motion blur.
LG only markets the pre-order campaign in the online shop, whereby shipping begins on April 25th. The 25% discount applies automatically at the cash register.
