Aqara launched the Voice Companion H1 in China. This device is designed for working with the HUB M3, which was launched worldwide in 2024. This allows you to control linked smart -home products with voice commands.
With AQARA COPILOT you can ask the H1 language attendant to ask information such as weather forecasts or the power consumption of a connected device. It is worth noting that the device has no integrated loudspeaker, the answers via the AQARA HUB M3 (Curr. 109.99 USD at Amazon) are specified. A data protection advantage of this device is that it only wakes up if it is picked up and has an automatic sleep mode. In addition, you can use the integrated movement sensor to turn the device on a surface, nudge or knock to trigger the Smart Home automation.
The Voice Companion H1 can communicate via Bluetooth and thread and is powered by a CR2450 battery that should be carried out for at least six months. As shown in the following marketing images, this is a small device. It measures 41 x 41 x 14.2 mm (~ 1.6 x 1.6 x 0.6 inches). This simply makes it easier to move in your house as needed. The Aqara Voice Companion H1 is now available in China for CNY 200 (27 US dollars). It is unclear whether or if this Smart Home device could start in other markets such as the USA.

I was interested in technology for so long as I can remember. At a young age I loved devices and understood how things work. Since the end I have worked for several technology companies in FinTech, Adtech and Robotics.
