In its biggest infrastructure -push for years to strengthen the government's interface with the regional media – and part of wider communication before the most important elections of the state and the Lok Sabha surveys from 2029 – the Center SOOCHNA BHAVANS will be built in 12 State Capital, the Indian Express has learned.
The SOOCHNA BHAVANS, which is proposed by the National Media Center in Delhi, is proposed by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I & B), including the press Information Bureau, the Central Bureau of Communication, the publication department and the CBFC. Most are currently in rented premises with limited facilities away from the state government offices.
In the first phase, buildings in Lucknow, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad and Kolkata are available at an estimated price of RS 40 -CRORE -via RS 480 Crore in RS 480 Crore take place. According to the officials, this hinders the coordination and slows down the execution of campaigns. “This leads to a poor execution of tasks in connection with the distribution of information or the execution of government campaigns at the state or regional level,” said an official.
Each SOOCHNA BHAVAN is a basic structure of over to four floors. If possible, the ground floor will contain three multi-purpose audories with a seating capacity of 150 each, which are operated by a private agency that was selected by an offer. These rooms are used for press conferences by central and state ministers, CBC film demonstrations, large conferences and cultural performances such as dance and theater and equipped with audio video equipment for a wide range of uses.
The complexes also have a media center for journalists with 25 to 30 workstations and access to an e-library to enable better interaction with PIB officials. A storage for CBC advertising material, a DPD book display lounge, a daily newspaper snail, a joint conference room with video conference facilities, a rehearsal hall for the song and drama division and a VIP lounge for the visit of the dignitaries.

Technical facilities for units of the local electronic media surveillance center (EMMC), transit guests for visiting officers and social welfare facilities such as a crèche, a yoga room and a gym will also be part of the design.
A knot representative designed by PIB will coordinate with the stakeholders through permits, while central and state panels delete the final buildings.
