I spent a large part of my professional career with the beauty beat, but even after all the years of learning, writing and testing, my daily make-up routine is relatively easy. It is concealer under the eyes, followed by an eyebrow pencil and depending on the day, either blush or bronzer for a finishing touch. Sometimes I wipe with mascara and a tinted lipstick when I feel chic. The key word is sometimes.

So if you couldn't say, I would like to minimize my time in front of the mirror. That is exactly why I love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Collection so much.

The line consists of a combination of blush, bronze, highliche and finish powder, which can be summarized or strolled for a shining, multi-dimensional finish. Each shade is driven by Hourglass with the special photoluminescence technology, a finely ground formula that diffuses hard light and smoothes imperfections and at the same time provides radiation of the next level.

HOURGLASS offers its ambient lighting collection either as a trio palette (packaged or adapted according to your wishes) or as a single compact all year round. Before each holiday season, however, the brand releases a very limited collection of pallets that consist of six environmental lights, all of which are accommodated in specially designed cases.

This year the Sasha Unisex brand, a Ukrainian tattoo artist who is known for her bold, geometric water designs, typed four original illustrations for the 2025 collection: one with a deer artwork with three new shades; another with a FOX artwork with five new colors; a Sephora-exclusive version with a horse artwork and six popular colors; And finally a version with a Swan artwork with four new and two bestsellers.

My favorite of the bunch is the Swan Edition. It is delivered with three new blush tones that range from a juicy coral to a rich plum, which I usually combine for a healthy pop to my cheeks. There is also a bronzer and a highlighter that I also like to mix for a sunken light, and a finish powder that can be applied anywhere on my face. On days when I am in a hurry – and these are most days – I simply mix all the colors together and dab everywhere. This is the beauty of this palette – it is super versatile and can be mixed and mixed with her choice. You can't misunderstand it.

Another advantage: I am not forced to choose between Rouge or Bronzer with the ambient lighting processing. All I need is a place where my beauty routine is maximized.

The formula itself is very light and does not feel like your ordinary powder formula. Everything you really have to do is easy to knock into the pan and then carefully type excess powder before applying it to your face. A little goes a long way.

As in previous years, Hourglass donates five percent of the net profit from the collection to the non -human rights project, an organization based in the USA that is working on securing fundamental rights for animals. Shopping of surrounding lighting is not only a great gift for your face – it is also a gift with a good cause.

Historically, the palette flies from the shelves (last year it sold it twice within two weeks). So if I were you, I would snap one for myself and all of your best girls before the holidays.
