However, there is a fatal mistake that could get far worse so far.

Dale Smith, founder of Zaun Guru, warned the mistakes that make the mistakes warned: “Most people do not know that their well -intentioned autumn habits could actually create the perfect environment for mold to thrive.
“The combination of increased moisture and reduced air flow, which is associated with cooler weather, means that during this transition period we are particularly careful how we manage our houses.”
He noticed that leaving objects such as umbrellas and boots that you can dry in your hallway could make your home a “breeding floor” for mold.
If these objects have to dry in corridors and narrow rooms, the moisture you create can create areas with high humidity, the perfect environment for mold.
The expert said: “I saw how mold problems start in entrance areas where families leave wet equipment consistently. From there, it spreads into the rest of the house through air circulation.”
This could be solved with the creation of specific drying zones with sufficient ventilation.

Mold is caused by moisture, and the most common form of moisture in houses comes from condensation – moisture in the air.
To help the households, the Bassingstoke and Dean Borough Council shared some tips and tricks.
- Always wipe surfaces on which the moisture settles
- Keep the lid on the pot when cooking
- Keep the kitchen and bathroom doors closed if you use these rooms as this helps to prevent the spread of moisture
- Use extractor fans in your kitchen and bathroom when you have it and/or open windows while using these rooms
- Dry clothes outside (if possible), do not dry clothes directly on the cooler
- Dry laundry in the bathroom with closed door and open window or the extractor fan on
Mold can be caused by other forms of moisture, including increasing moisture, gutters and drip pipes.
