For shorter periods (up to an hour), many of our testers found both sofas quite comfortably, although they have no support and may be difficult for some people to sit. The group in particular seemed to encourage the chaise ovios. As the writer Ayanna Redwood-Crawford said: “The boneless sofas are a talks.”
Most testers preferred the chaise ovios over the Rove Labor -Liebessitz, found the more sloping foam, the higher seat height and the Liefing design more comfortable. The wide armrests are useful to put on a computer or a plate, but no significant weight without squeezing yourself down.
But over long periods of time, no bone -free sofa supports particularly supportive. When I was sitting on the Rove laboratory, I leaned about 10 inches from the seat due to the extremely lower back -compared to 17 inches from the seat cushion on some conventional sofas such as the Room & Board Metro sofa, one of our top picks in our sofa leader. And the chaise ovios, which forces you to gap, has a back height of only 8 inches from the seat. The editor Hannah Rimm noticed: “I want one of them for my reading -nook fantasy. But it hurts my back.”
The short height of the seat can also make it difficult for some people to get in and out these sofas. The seat height of Ovios Chaise is about 16 inches, but the seat height on the Petite Rove Lab Love-Liebessitz is particularly low-14 inches compared to the more standard seat heights of our Sabai or Sixpenny-Sofa picks. (Rove Lab says that the seat height of the Liebessitzes is 15 inches, but compression when sitting can make it almost one inch lower.)
One of the frequent reasons for the return of the Rove Lab sofa, as explained on Reddit, it is that customers find that the sofa looks surprisingly small, such as having children's furniture (not having any legs) is a factor). The lack of hard edges in combination with stain-resistant fabrics makes these bone styles an obvious choice for playing rooms and children's rooms (similar to the sofas of all-foam and fabric games) or perhaps as an upgrade of seat bags.
