The Uplift Standing Desk is one of the most customizable standing desks on the market (with lots of accessories, storage options, etc.) and is adjustable to fit people between 5’4″ and 7 inches. It offers a wide range of desk styles to choose from, including laminate, bamboo, solid wood and live edge wood. This versatility in many ways has earned this desk top awards.
But there is much more to mention. Version 2 took less than an hour to assemble and we were impressed by how thoughtful the process was. Thanks to its intelligent design, it can be equipped with premium wheels that allow it to glide like a dream around the office. The motor is large but quiet and the keyboard is well made and feels good.
The only concern we had was with the fabric case that comes standard under the desk. It needs to be cut to size to fit the cables underneath, but that's not a big problem. And we tested the larger model, which is great, but it does take up some space (choose the 48-inch model if space is tight).
But back to that clever design. There are raised cable grommets equipped with a smooth fan opening and the verticality of the model is impressive. Moving up and down is a smooth process and the desk can stop in a snap. Simply put, it is the best standing desk we have used to date.
