MG developer breaks ground on The George Residences, the final project at Biltmore Square in Coral Gables

Work has officially begun on the George Residences, the final phase of MG Developer's Biltmore Square community in Coral Gables. Located at 717 Valencia Avenue, the boutique project will feature 13 ultra-luxurious townhomes and marks the culmination of MG Developer's multi-tiered vision to bring new residential architecture to one of South Florida's most established neighborhoods.

Below are several aerial photos provided by developer YIMBY that illustrate the foundations and layout of the future townhouses. Concrete trucks and a concrete pump can be seen on site as crews prepare to pour the foundations.

The milestone coincides with the unveiling of new interior and exterior renderings, offering a first look at the design and scale of the townhouse collection. Designed by De la Guardia Victoria Architects & Urbanists, led by Maria de la Guardia as lead architect, the residences will combine Mediterranean-inspired architecture with contemporary finishes.

Each home will be more than 5,000 square feet and feature private courtyards, loggias, summer kitchens and four-car garages equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. Interiors include Italian millwork, marble countertops, solid mahogany doors and windows, and high-end fixtures from Sub-Zero, Wolf and Waterworks. Smart home technology will integrate lighting, music and security systems.

Earlier this year, MG Developer secured a $41 million construction loan from Pine Bay Capital, supporting the project's buildout and underscoring continued institutional confidence in Coral Gables' luxury real estate market.

Sales and marketing for The George is led exclusively by Ryan Serhant and Jorge Fernandez of SERHANT. New development. “The George is a rare offering, a boutique collection of residences that captures the spirit of Coral Gables’ tree-lined charm while offering a cosmopolitan level of luxury,” said Serhant.

Residences at The George are priced at $6.275 million, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2027.
