In the last decade Living trends have turned to a neutral color palette, with styles like Quiet luxury And Modern coast show the way. In 2024, earthy neutrals were everywhere, creating calm and nature-inspired spaces. Heading into 2025, the color is making a comeback (thank goodness). That doesn't mean that neutral and earthy tones are out. Instead, we see them beautifully complemented by jewel tones, adding depth, warmth and a touch of richness to our home. I'm excited to incorporate these eye-catching hues into my own space for 2025!
Here are the biggest home color trends in 2025.

Purple has taken a back seat in home decor trends in recent years, but in 2025 that will fundamentally change. From Glidden's Color of the Year 2025: Purple basilto Benjamin Moore's atmospheric and nature-inspired work Cinnamon slate – a rich mix of purple and brown – even opulent by Farrow & Ball aubergine And Cordonne colors“Lush Berenjena, deep, rich purples make a very welcome return.” These shades embody everything we love about purples: royalty, luxury, creativity and a little mystery.

Mocha mousse
The Pantone Color of the Year, PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, is a deliciously warm brown that combines two of my favorite things: Coffee And Chocolate. This cozy yet sophisticated hue is rich without being overpowering, with a muted sophistication (think coffee with a splash of cream) that instantly warms a room. Pantone describes it as Color of comfort, and I can only agree. “Mocha mousse is the perfect choice for 2025,” says the designer Ashley Strong. “Mocha Mousse offers endless possibilities for decorating, whether as a soft rug, a soothing rug or as a base for bold pops of color like deep jewel tones or metallics. This versatile hue opens up a world of design options, making it a timeless and adaptable addition to any space.

Brick reda warm and inviting hue, will come into the spotlight in 2025. Colors like BEHR's color of the year, rumorare taking up the growing trend towards burgundy tones. With its deep red base and subtle brown undertones, Brick Red will add the perfect touch of warmth and depth to your earthy decor.

Named after the French liqueur, chartreuse lies on the color spectrum between yellow and green and can range from neon-like brightness to softer, more muted tones. It is a unique balance of warmth through its yellow undertones and coolness through its green tones, giving it a versatile quality that harmonizes with a variety of color palettes. Sky blue
This classic and versatile color can't help but create calm, serene spaces (think bedrooms and bathrooms) while being fresh and cheerful. Often associated with the sky and sea, the color pairs perfectly with a variety of styles, from coastal and country styles to modern and minimalist styles, complementing neutrals such as white, beige and gray for a clean, modern look. For a softer color palette, sky blue, like Anthropologie Velvet Lawson chairwith soft pink and muted green tones for a perfect color mix for 2025.
Graham & Brown
Truffle brown
Brown tones remain a dominant force in interior design and truffle tones such as Graham & Brown's color of the year, Eldertonare rich, warm and incredibly versatile. Use them in furniture, textiles and accessories. Truffle brown pairs beautifully with earthy neutrals, soft creams, or even jewel tones and can be used as a statement wall color or as an accent in decor pieces.
