Interior innovator TMI Products has announced a complete line of interior products for the 1959 Chevrolet Impala. This launch represents the company's first comprehensive offering for this iconic car. The new line updates the interior while retaining key design elements, such as the original Impala emblem on the back seat.
New door and side panels are available to upgrade the interior. These molded plates are available in two patterns: Sport and Sport-DD (Double Diamond). Made from durable ABS plastic, the panels are easy to install using factory mounting points. They also have integrated armrests for added comfort.
Customers can also choose different fabric and stitching colors to customize their interior. Above the panels, TMI offers a fiberglass replacement headliner with sail panels. The new headliner provides a smooth, integrated appearance. The new headliner contains cutouts for the ceiling light and places for mounting the sun visor. Complementary sun visors made from customer-selected materials complete the top and provide a high-quality finish. Finally, a flat parcel shelf covered with premium vinyl forms the end at the back of the roof area.
TMI offers premium carpet sets for the floor. These kits consist of six separate pieces that provide a better fit compared to traditional two-piece designs. This facility allows adjustments to the vehicle floor, eliminating gaps and unevenness in the carpet.
The rugs are available in German Square Weave, Cut Pile and Loop materials with various colors and edge binding. In addition to carpets, TMI also launched CNC-cut floor mats. These mats fit the Impala floor exactly. A needle-patterned, rubberized backing keeps the mats in place. A heat-sealed heel pad on the driver's side mat provides additional protection.
When it comes to seats, customers can choose between the front bucket seats from the Pro-Series or the Pro-Classic from TMI. The seats are mounted using application-specific, low-profile mounting brackets. These brackets allow for easy screw mounting.
The interior is finally rounded off by the shaped, continuous sports console. This console offers features missing from the original offering, including two cup holders, a storage compartment and an armrest. The console is available in various materials and stitching options to complement the interior. Customers can customize each product to suit their tastes with different colors and patterns. TMI's online configurator simplifies the process of designing a custom interior and allows customers to easily visualize their creations.
