Text description of the architects. The Galeriah house is located on a completely flat plot near the Paraíba River in the city of São José dos Campos – SP. It was designed for a couple who, with the outbreak of the pandemic, felt the need to enjoy the outdoor spaces that a residence can offer. The architect Priscila Pereira accompanied the clients from the moment of choosing the property.

When designing the program of the house, all the couple's special features were taken into account. Therefore, on the second floor we have a gym overlooking a preserved green space, connected to the main suite of the house and also connected via a spiral staircase to leisure areas such as a sauna and a pool on the ground floor.

The house also includes two other suites to accommodate the couple's children and nieces and nephews, as well as a gallery room (which gives the house its name) as a multifunctional area with walls without openings and disturbances, dedicated to the couple's art exhibition of private pieces.

The house has protrusions deviating from right angles with openings arranged on the inside, which give the facade a unique plasticity, entirely sculptural and minimalist. All interior spaces open to the leisure area, which also includes a spacious pool.

The west-facing interior openings for the leisure area have a second skin made of various aluminum breeze modules, which ensure a constantly moving interior facade and ensure the privacy of the bedrooms even when the windows are open.

The first module in coffee tones, represented by Cosentino's Dekton Radium Industrial, includes the arrival area for residents and visitors. Upon entering, there is a transition to a linear module with a light and soft tone, where Dekton Aeris by Cosentino covers interior and exterior floors, the pool and countertops.

Throughout the space, there are minimal differences in finishing materials, adding to the experience between fluid and demarcated spaces characterized only by the arrangement of furniture.
