Many cyclists have had the same experience: you cycle to catch a bus and realize there is no room for you and your bike on the bus. Luckily, a new solution has finally come onto the market. This is the Car.Los V1 cargo e-bike that gets you where you need to go and then folds down to half size for easy storage.
“The 'Swiss Army Knife on Two Wheels' came onto the market earlier this year (…),” wrote Paul Ridden for New Atlas.
The bike's brilliant features include a mid-frame folding mechanism “that halves its size in just a few seconds,” as well as “a folding handlebar and a luggage basket that folds like a handbag to allow for more aerodynamic riding between rides.” “
The new device is receiving high praise online, both for its ability to transport you around town with minimal pedaling and for its portability.
“People who live in apartments or don’t have enough garage space for a full-size front-loading e-bike will appreciate that the Car.Los V1 folds in half for storage between rides,” Ridden explained.
Electric vehicle solutions that eliminate the highly polluting carbon emissions of internal combustion engines are taking the world by storm. Every year sales of electric vehicles are increasing. In 2025, the sales share of electric bicycles is expected to be 8.82% and will reach 17.65% in 2028. Electric bikes now account for around 5% of the total bicycle market.

The spread of electric vehicles has an impact on the environment. They do not produce carbon dioxide and electric charging is cheaper than refueling gasoline-powered cars.
Many critics of electric vehicles claim that they still drain the environment of natural resources, citing factors such as mineral extraction. But scientists emphasize that while about 30 million tons of minerals per year are used to transition to clean energy, this pales when compared to the 16.5 billion tons of fossil fuels removed from the Earth annually.
As Hannah Ritchie, a researcher at the University of Oxford, puts it: “At its fastest deployment, low-carbon energy production will be 500 to 1,000 times less than current fossil fuel production.”
So if you're looking for a quick and organized way to cut your gas bill in half, an e-bike might be the perfect solution.
