(Gray News) – According to Karoline Leavitt, spokesman for the White House, the drones that have flown by New Jersey in the past few months were approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
“The drones that fly over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized by FAA for research and various other reasons,” said Leavitt on Tuesday.
Leavitt and the White House did not say who the drones were carried out by, however, said that some were also flown by “hobbyists”.
“Many of these drones were also operated by hobbyists, leisure users and private individuals who like to have flying drones. While the increase in activity may have aroused curiosity and concern, I would like to assure everyone – this was not the enemy, ”she said and quoted Trump.
