Anne Hathaways NY Terrace has solved my summer hosting problems

When I lived in a tiny apartment, I had peace with the fact that the hosting outdoors would go hand in hand with its challenges – especially when it came to eating in the same room, making contacts and relaxing. Just as I would prefer to keep my dining table separated from my sofa on the inside, it simply didn't seem to be possible to keep them apart on my terrace until Anne Hathaway provided the solution.

The actress, together with her husband, the jewelry designer Adam Shulman, and the Jeffrey Erb Landscape Design, intelligently zoned her former Balcony garden use with pergolas. Despite his NYC postcode (which means that there is space for a bonus), the team managed to break up their open plan terrace and create different “zones”-one for eating at a table and one to enjoy conversations about comfortable seats.
