Bentley's OpenSite+ is the first engineering application to use generative AI for civil engineering site planning. It helps engineers quickly plan residential, commercial and industrial sites using AI tools, significantly increasing productivity and accuracy.
OpenSite+ is a native Digital Twin product built on Bentley's iTwin platform, providing AI-powered efficiency and higher quality designs with:
- Improved design experience with Copilot: Users can quickly create, revise, and interact with requirements documentation and 3D site models through natural language interactions – to automatically and accurately and easily make real-time design changes.
- Layout Optimization: Users can increase efficiency, reduce errors, and revise site designs in minutes with one-click earthworks optimization. Bentley's AI-powered design layout agent can evaluate thousands of layout options and suggest alternative designs in real-time, allowing users to make better design decisions faster and save time and money.
- Automated drawing creation: Users can reduce time spent on everyday drawing tasks, speed up drawing creation by 10x, and improve drawing accuracy using AI-powered annotations, annotations, and slides that automatically place annotations and dimensions according to organizational standards optimized for readability and aesthetics.
- Smart Design Tools: Users can create and revise designs with smart, editable objects such as building lots, parking plans, driveways, sidewalks and ponds to complete projects in a fraction of the time compared to traditional CAD software.
