As one of the oldest games, the chess has enchanted generations of players for thousands of years. CHAUTAGA (an Indian forerunner) is said to invent two different games of the time and in all later chess variations with different forces and victory depending on the fate of a piece, the king of modern chess, two essential features. The rules changed over the millennia due to social shifts and popular beliefs, since the powers could be postponed. From the head of the British-Iranian artist Sara KhamisiCo -founder and art director of Sandro Lopez MilanoPresent Kish o mat is the Persian term that inspired the word “checkmate” and celebrates the old game through Persian -inspired handmade ceramics.
The story is strong in the Kish O MAT collection and derives importance through the language of the abstract form. A black and white film that can be seen below accompanies the collection, which was created in the French Nouvelle Vague style, an allusion to the filmmaking of a past era. Two protagonists navigate a chess game with ceramics in the center of history.

The king Vase is an entertaining example of abstraction, handmade forms that create a three -point motif of a crown. An extruded form, the different levels of the vessel capture light in a fantastic way, facets with separate tones. Traditional matt white and matt black colors are of course essential for the purists, but a pink version is available for those who are not afraid of branching.
The queen The vase, which is available in the same colors as the king, tends the elegance and power of the chess piece, according to which it is named, with a cylindrical shape that is cut by a flat field and leads to a fat geometric shape.
The Farmer Cut a low profile, a simple but elegant change in shape changes the route of a traditional circle. Perfect for fruit, small objects or a squat candle, the appearance of an entrance or a table landscape reinforces.
The Knight is shown by a stylized form that resembles the fourth numbers, strong levels that rise to the sky. The knight resembles the path that you strike on the board, and large flowers or twigs are easy. A playful conversation is created in connection and especially in different colors, which brings a fresh feeling on every surface.
The bishopAvailable in turquoise, matt and matt black, weighs the plant life that contains it. A circle divided, then translated, pulls this motif onto the movement of the bishop and makes himself diagonally in the entire way he chooses.
The Tower Wears an angular shape with a square base and crosses, which moves the forward, reverse and side-sideways that the tower can do across the board.
