Like everyone who has just moved to a new home, decorating their room takes time. I spent almost a year to perfect my new apartment and I still have a lot of what I want to do. To plan everything, I use Pinterest. And would you like to know what is on the way for every moodboard I do? Chromdekor.
If you follow the latest trends in interior design, you have certainly found the growing popularity of chromium decorations last year or something. If you are a real esthet, you probably have your own piece of the shiny, slim metal. But what about Chrome Decor that has recently captured our collective hearts? Especially when you consider that it wasn't long ago that we only took care of brass.
The Metallic Sheen by Chrome Decor is reminiscent of retro styles (currently another hot trend), but also merged with the idea of fashionable futurism. Perhaps it is the step towards the interiors that differ from beige-minimalism, or maybe the sudden demand for more industrial rooms. Perhaps it is just because all their houses filled with warm gold medals and patina brass, was a certain set out there and was looking for something new. Whatever it is, the chrome decor has become inevitable.

Some of the chrome decorative trend feels so retro is that it has been around for decades and has repeatedly driven back (as most timeless styles do).
It came for the first time around the 20s and 30s, during the era of the Art Deco interior architecture, in which cross-chrome planning was widespread and focused on luxurious materials and industrial design.
We then saw their return with the rise of modern houses from the middle of the century (the famous Wassily chair was a main example) and then with the advent of interior in space age. And of course it is now back in 2025 and more stylish than ever.
Although there is a chrome couch table, a room divider and a door frame in this living room, it doesn't feel too much. The other textures help compensate for the chrome.

So why do we think that Chrome Decor is back now? “Chrome has several advantages,” says Guillaume Fantin, interior designer and co -founder of the design studio based in Paris in Le Cann. “It easily fits different styles and materials, and its shine often stands with matt surfaces.”
Chrome Decor also fits the aesthetics of minimalism in interior design, but adds a unique sparkle of personality. It is a material that stands out by itself and adds sophistication without needing additional elements. Do you dare to say it is calm luxury with a shiny turn?
“The reflective properties and the interaction with light bring an additional dimension into the decor, which gives a room depth and dynamics,” adds Guilluame.
Guillaume Fantin is interior designer and co -founder of Le Cann, a studio that works under the idea that the simplicity of the form is a guarantee of timelessness. Guillaume is known for creating minimal spaces before it comes with contemporary elements.
How to style chromium decor
Although Chrome is technically available in a variety of colors, the cool silver shadow is the heartbeat of the current design movement. Regardless of whether you choose a finish that is so shiny that it is reflective, or a more steamed metal to stay silver, is the ultimate guide to do it right.
From there, “Chrome fits well with other metals such as brass or brushed stainless steel,” says Guillaume. This combination creates visual complexity and avoids a monotonous look.
For example, the combination of chrome lighting with brass accents and accessories can give the decor wealth and depth. “The key is to compensate for contrasts and textures for a harmonious result,” says Guillaume.
For example, wood and chrome are a wonderful combination, since the natural texture of the wood justifies the industrial feeling of chrome.

Now the funny part: Find the perfect decor to bring your chromatic dreams to life. While there is definitely space in the chrome decorative trend to try out a “more soaked” design, you can start with a few parts here, and it helps you to measure how much or how little the material you want to use in your room.
“We want to incorporate chrome into small touches such as door handles or taps, lighting body or furniture accents,” says Guillaume. “This approach adds a modern and elegant note without overwhelming the room.”
A chromine lamp, a candle holder or an side table make her home from cool – it's just about finding what speaks to you. Below you will find some of the most stylish chrome decorations that I recently noticed.

Ripid metal candle lamp
These wall lights from H&M look at the perfect little hint of chrome. The torn metal creates a hypnotic texture that I can only imagine when an illuminated candle is reflected on it. Put a few of these next to your door or even a work of art.
MADE
Piperine lamp made, chrome
I am absolutely obsessed with this type of light. It feels inspired by retro design and immediately reminds me of a tabletop version of the floor and ceiling lamp by living supply (another article on my chrome wish list). This lamp gives your office or bedroom a brutalist edge and still feels full of personality. Place it on a warm wooden table to keep the cozy aesthetics.

If you really want to immerse yourself in the chrome decor, this candlestick holder is a must. The geometric shapes reflect the industrial quality of chrome, but indicates the traditional style of the silver candelabra. And who doesn't love a decorative piece that feels more like a work of art?
Since the love for chrome continues to rave indoors, I have to say that the bigger and more courageous you go. It is as if the “an amazing thing” suggests; If you integrate an unexpected element into a room, the room is immediately increased. Something about your living room feels? Replace your standard wood table for a contemporary chrome look -The result is unbeatable style.

Dripe aluminum candle holder 14 cm
Has anyone said castlecore? The platted aluminum drip design leads me to dinner with candle trade in Grand Palace Ballsrooms. I know, I know that this pols Potten Candle Holder is pretty much the perfect piece on Selfridges. It is art and decor in one, and although it is a statement piece in itself, you can easily style this candle holder with a combination of other decor. Silver is a neutral thing in my book.

Polished polished stainless steel career opportunities from Zieta
I couldn't talk about Chrome Decor without mentioning the legendary pop stool from Zieta. All coolest interiors have a kind of emptied decor, and Zeita is committed to the style with its inventive designs. And if you love the style, you are lucky; The brand offers everything from wall hangings to eating chairs and tables.
I recently went to the H&M Home Store Rebrand in London, and this chair immediately noticed. A good way to make Chrome if you are not sure whether you want to include everything in the hardware later. Furniture like this is a timeless piece for your collection and can harmoniously mix in many different rooms and many different interior designers.
Ferm Living
Warehouse wall shelf – triple
The safer a statement that you give with Chrome, the more the look will come together. Although it can be difficult to pull a complete renovation and apply a chrome wallpaper trend or a door frame, something like this metal wall shelf from Ferm Living is the perfect happy medium. The shelves serve as an additional storage, while the metal back creates a curated chrommoment.
Finally, the chrome mushroom lamp is. A mushroom lamp feels like the origin of the chromphenomen in the interior. Lately, the styles have shifted towards retro and 70s-inspired design, and this table lamp is both vintage styles and slim chromine interiors. This is a piece that immediately moved from my wish list to my living room.
