Group to unveiled 2025 Homex State of Industry Report on Design, Decor

The organizers of the Homex West Africa Expo have shown that the efforts at the top of the report on the Homex State of the Industry 2025 are officially published about the future of design, decor and interior in August.

The body said that the Nigerian interiors, the living culture and the lifestyle sector experience a shift, and the numbers now show how important this transformation is.

“While we are preparing for the official publication of the industry report 2025, we offer you a first look at the data, findings and possibilities that influence the future of design, decor and work and work. This is more than a report. It is a mirror of the changing taste, the frenzy of economic strength behind the interests and lifestyle -space in Nigeria.

According to data, which was compiled at an overview of the Homex sector in 2025, the Nigeria interior design industry grows into a structured and economically sustainable sector.

The interior design association of Nigeria (IDAN) projects that the industry within the African economy generates over 30 billion a year per year, while other estimates place the Nigeria interior architecture market alone with over 40 million US dollars.

The Homex report shows that several important trends from more designers complete formal training and certification and signal a ripening industry, while there is an increasing fusion of traditional Nigerian elements with modern design concepts.

It also said that designers include tech tools and materials that correspond to the Nigerian tropical climate, including hardwood, bamboo and smart home solutions, just like the market for residential culture online, driven by mobile penetration and digital experienced buyer.

“While the full data set is published with the official start, early findings are convincing: 85.7% of the respondents identify as experts within the interior sector, which indicates that a concentrated and active core drives the industry ahead.

“90% of these respondents indicate growth of their business activities, with 38% listing strong growth and leading 52% with moderate increases.

The top market driver (57%) leads commercial properties, followed by living space apartments and home automation. The demand for luxury and high-quality surfaces is growing rapidly.

The Homex report of the industry report will offer deeper sector breaks, knowledge of industry leaders, growth forecasts, challenges and innovation options as well as politics and investment recommendations

It found that Nigeria's interiors and lifestyle are not just a creative space at home. It is a business sector with enormous potential.
