The rise of sound bathing and sensory well -being
A growing trend in wellness rooms is a sound bathing one practice that immerses individuals into soothing instrumental or natural-supplied noises. The sound pool previously reserved for high-end spas can now be reproduced at home with simple elements such as yoga mats, pillows and ambient lighting.
Sound therapy beds use low-frequency vibrations for a high-tech experience to promote relaxation. In the meantime, infrared saunas, a space-saving alternative to conventional steam trees, offer health benefits such as improved blood circulation and muscle recovery.
Even shower technology develops to support well -being. Some high-end units now integrate water temperature controls, aromatherapy and LED lighting to create a full-time experience.
Creative wellness rooms
Not all wellness rooms focus exclusively on relaxation. Many homeowners use them as creative retreats.
“We have recently designed more music rooms,” says Bueno. “Music heals deeply and customers find ways to integrate them into their self -care.”
Some rooms are designed for the artistic expression of solo, while others promote the social connection. A customer wanted a committed listening room for his extensive vinyl collection while another created a family -friendly music lounge.
Materials and decor also play an important role in determining the mood. Natural wood, cork and neutral tones bring warmth and calm, while strong colors and dynamic lighting can give energy or the power rooms energy.
