If you mainly struggle hard floors, wet and dry cleaning can be useful.
Not only do you have the power of the best vacuum cleaners to suck up rubble quickly while washing, but can also do light work of the return.
In addition, such a waste of water always seemed to empty and refill it. Wet and dry vacuum cleaners separate the dirty and clean water tanks and offer a more sustainable, more user -friendly experience.
I spent countless hours of testing wet and dry vacuum cleaners, and my favorite must be the Haifisch -Hydrovac -Messmaster -hardbodeniner. It can not only get rid of dirt, stains and dust in two wipes, but also easy to use and wait.
Although my floor has never been cleaner, these are a few reservations that I had not taken into account before buying. Here are the three most important things I wanted.
1. It does not clean carpets (only carpets)
Although this may have a similar function, the Shark Hydrovac is not designed in such a way that you can clean carpets like a dedicated cleaning. So always choose for your soil types and needs.
And although I mainly have hard floors, it would have been nice to have my beige carpet staircase a deep clean (and revive the color again!). In fact, the Shark Hydrovac can only “refresh” carpets, which is essentially a slight cleans without softening it.
For those with mainly carpets, it is probably best to invest in a carpet cleaner that was specially made for carpet surfaces. In addition, these machines can remove stubborn spots and smells, which is ideal if they have pets or children.

2. Sperry Head cannot do any corners properly
As a rule, wet and dry vacuum are equipped with a bulky head and without additional approaches for corners or angles. As a result, it cannot tackle corners and angles as well as a mop box.
When using the Shark Hydrovac, the difficult part was to bring the brush head into uncomfortable angles. One of my kitchen cabinets has a curved design that makes it difficult to really wave your head to give the area a good clean.
I finally died with a simple base wiping, but it is worth it if you have a lot of angles or unpleasant corners.
3 .. no advanced functions
The Shark Hydrovac is as simple as possible that it does perfectly for non-tea-rich people like me.
The mains switch on the handle switches on the LCD display, with which they are to be filled or emptied with basic indicators such as the battery levels and when the water tanks are to be filled or emptied.
Although it is not equipped with advanced settings (hydraulic stages, etc.) or unusual Mod disadvantages, what I find more valuable is its self-locking function. This means that you never have to worry about rinsing out a dirty MOP head and bucket. Simply put it on the loading base, insert it and it is automatically self -counting.
However, if you are looking for an “intelligent” wet and dry vacuum cleaner, the Tineco-Boden-One-S5 vacuum cleaner with advanced functions such as self-complained operation and language instructions that support you during cleaning.
Or if you really want problems (and hands) free cleaning, you can invest in one of the best robot mops to literally do the whole work.
