Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake City, Utah) opened Sophie's Place, a music therapy room, on the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Campus in Lehi, Utah, according to a press release.
The new facility combines music, art and dance/movement in a room that was remembered by the memory of Utah volunteers, Sophie Barton, who died at the age of 17. Patients have access to piano, drums, guitars, microphones, a dedicated recording studio and rooms for art and dance.
