The Israel-based lighting rental specialist Koltech has invested in 24 new robe Esprite lights to expand the ever-expanded rent inventory, which now includes over 150 robe moving lights.
The company was founded in 2007 by Yossi Bendavid-Best known by his nickname 'Zakzak', which is talkative … and unnecessarily mention that communication is one of its passions together with lighting and burning ambition to be a market-leading company in order to offer its customers an overlative service and its creative shows.
Zakzak bought the Espriten because he believes that it is the game, “a great workhorse light and a professional spot game that is the easiest, lightest and most efficient in its class”.
He is a light designer and heads the company, and he and his crew, including other regular lighting designers such as Mor Avitan, were impressed by the frame shops of the Esprit and the Gobos as well as the pure flat beam, which spends completely without hotspots and edge cup. “The look offers a high -quality look,” he confirmed.
Zakzak emphasized that the requirements of contemporary shows must be adaptable, since so many events in Israel are confirmed with very short lead times, especially now when everything is very volatile in the Middle East! In this sense, it is important to be flexible throughout the planning and production life cycle of every concert, the show, the event or the show. You need lights that are good for every scenario.
For every big business investment like this is also the relationship between distributor, and Zakzak lifts the “brilliant”, which he enjoys with Danor Systems LTD, and for this reason Koltech now works almost exclusively with Robe Move Move Light Products.
Mor recently used the esprites for a show by Be'er-Shevas Holit Dance Company and he loves the lights! He is the son of Zakzak's business partner and co -founder of Koltech, Shlomi Avitan, and has been working in the company since the age of 10! Since they always had robe on board, he grew up with the brand.
Koltech is happy to be a pioneer. Apart from this new Esprite purchase, it is the first company in Israel to have Rob's Tetrax 360 degrees rotating linear LED latte in rental stock than Danor Rental, which is related to the distribution.
A few years ago, they also invested the first to invest in the punch line, and Koltech is still the only operation in the country with the popular Ledwash 800 LED washing jet. In recent times, they also bought 150s in 2024 and continued to build a large selection of robber options.
The first robe purchase from 2012 with MMX spots. Zakzak noticed that every device that is still working well after 10 years of active service is a real proof of quality technology and the design of the products.
In the seventh city of Israel and the largest in the southern Negev-desert region, they now have 20 full-time employees and freelancers if necessary and offer great lighting solutions for their busy and diverse customer base, work at concerts, outdoor festivals, a whole range of corporate / business events and art projects.
