A liberal government Dutton has committed 200,000 US dollars for lighting improvements at Michael Cronin Oval, the home of the Gerringong Junior Lions.
The obligation ensures the exchange of existing light rods on the south side of the oval and the installation of new LED lights on the north side of the oval.
The liberal candidate for Gilmore, Andrew Constance, welcomed the commitment to improve the facilities of the players, volunteers and spectators at Michael Cronin Oval.

“The Gerringong junior Lions are a great family-oriented club that attracts players and supporters from the Shohaven heads to Kiama,” said Constance.
“I would like to thank the club and its volunteers for the ambition that it has shown that they increase participation in women and girls.”
“The new lights will improve the security of the players and encourage them to adhere to the sport they love.”
The deputy leader of the opposition, MP Hon Sussan Ley, started Andrew Constance in Gerringong to enter into the commitment.
“I am very pleased that a liberal government in Dutton will support the Gerringong junior lions to improve the lighting here with Michael Cronin Oval,” said Ms. Ley.

“I know that Andrew worked tirelessly behind the scenes to secure this commitment to new LED lights, but none of this would be possible without the mothers and fathers to make their time for the time to make the Gerringong Junior Lions the wonderful place where it is to play.”
“Andrew will be a strong voice for the south coast in Canberra and will not stop fighting for all of its communities.”
