Even a home can be just as curated and beautifully tailor -made as an art gallery – with exactly the right peppering unexpected pieces, impressive works of art and striking furniture that feels sculptural than just utilitarian – and fluores that make a mood. Each object must have an aesthetic (and practical) purpose; Even the walls have to speak. This was the idea behind the design of this contemporary Ahmedabad house, which “harmonizes simplicity with sophistication and establishes a deep connection to nature”, as RaghaV Patel and Ramesh Lohar from R+R architects Aver.
The large scale of the residence gives a large tone – but the interiors are available and inviting. The designers chose a comprehensive topic of Japandi-inspired “organic creativity”, in which the interiors, which are covered by lush green outside, feel timeless. The result? An earthy view of a thousand -year -old gray interiors, which provides a pleasant living environment in perfect harmony with the clean architectural lines of the house.

A structured, tactile mood flows through the house – directly from the living room. The walls have an elegant, gentle beige and taupe finish and offer a subtle backdrop for all furnishings and tricks that are to be highlighted.
