The state government of Oklahoma has launched a new website to pursue efforts to reduce state waste as part of the Doge OK initiative. The initiative is inspired by strategies that Elon Musk used to reduce government spending on his efforts.

On the website, savings of 800,000 US dollars are highlighted for measures such as switching to LED lighting and the implementation of software, with which audits are automated.

“Transparency and accountability are the key to making Oklahoma a top state,” said Governor Stitt in a quote found on the new website. “With the start of Doge-OK, we give Oklahomans a clearer picture of how your government works.”

The new Doge-OK website can be found here.
