The Govee Star Light is simply set up with the accompanying app from the box, but you will mainly use the buttons for the device to control them. The scenes were spectacular when I first switched it on for my children, who were over the dreamy mix of lights around them and had only seen an RGB projector worth 14 US dollars.

The lights are breathtaking and very customizable, mix to create new colors and a northern light. The projector has a dual -lamp pearl design and creates a flowing light show next to a starry sky. Apart from the fact that you are a great sleep aid for both children and adults, it is perfect to create a relaxing ambience or to put the mood at a party – it is certainly the highlight of every night.

The GOVEE app has 50 preset scene modes, many with music and white noise options. However, you can mix and adapt to adapt your experience. The Govee app is not the most user-friendly software that I tested because it is difficult to find exactly how patterns and colors can adapt beyond the preset scenes. Nevertheless, a few experiments and errors brought me to where my children and I ultimately wanted.
