Pinterest has presented its latest summer trend report 2025, in which digital detoxification will remain on the subject of the season. The social media platform found from internal Pinterest Global data from January 2025 to March 2025 that Pinterest users put their screens in favor of the free -and users take a slower, deliberate lifestyle. And ironically, the search for a “digital detox vision board” on Pinterest rose by 273 percent and “digital detox ideas” have increased by 72 percent.
In particular, the return to real life drives with a summer with nature trips, rustic residential culture as well as craft and hobbies. The reporting authors found that gen Z is no longer online and connects with the world around them again.
Consumers want to have a “Martha Stewart Summer” with cooking, urban gardening and lively summer recipes-all the way to imitate the imaginary lifestyle of the image maker, since it has continued to reinvent itself, as they are documented on social media and beyond. Above all, the search for Pinterest for the “Martha Stewart -aesthetics” has increased by 2,889 percent.
With a return to the basics, Pinterest users combine not only with nature, but also with the search for “summer drinks” (up to 566 percent), with innovative beverage creations using fresh products to manufacture new and refreshing cocktails. Pinterest searches for “harvest recipe” (plus 680 percent), “from garden to table” (up 117 percent), “fresh summer recipes” (around 33 percent), “Small Backyard vegetable garden” (up to 246 percent) and “flower garden” (up to 259 percent) both stewart and Ina Garten pride.
The trends of the summer take references from nature in a similar way, as can be seen through the popularity of rustic aesthetics and farmhouse cottage interiors. In particular, Z is looking for unique and economical parts – looking for “economy decor”, “economical apartment”, “Secondhand Decor Ideas”, “Thrifted Room Decor” and more.
Bauernhaus Cottage searches for the search queries of 201 percent the attraction of rural life, as can be seen through the “homeesteading” search inquiries, and gives the interior a more natural attraction with the use of natural tones and textures -with brick, wood and vintage finds that are used to produce the perfect garden escape.

During the warm weather, twice the latest travel trends on digital detoxification twice. Z is ready to get in touch with nature and is ready to spend your vacation “natural pool” and read a good book – be it around the “landscape of Switzerland” (by 177 percent), “Irish Forest” (around 33 percent) or “Kilimanjaro Mountain” (around 221 percent). Book retreats also receive their spotlight for summer travelers who are looking for a literary flight to meet mental relaxation.
Regardless of whether it is reading a book or the orientation of a book club, reading is cool again – especially over the years in which celebrities deal in action, be it Dua Lipas Service95, Dakota Johnson's Teatime or Reese Witherspoons Buchclub. Feded colors for rams, quiet colors for cancer and lively styles for Leo, whereby “Jungfrau Make-up” was most searched for by 2.006 percent on the social media platform. “And not surprising, tropical fruits (plus 142 percent), hibiscus flowers (plus 103 percent) and La Dolce Vita Italian Summers (up to 258 percent) fuel the latest nail art.
Pinterest has teamed up with Joss & Main to awaken these summer trends through its bought, curated style processing on the specialty decoration platform and through a shopping series led by Creator, which brings the menu ideas, steelspiration and dormitory to life.
“This summer we invite our users to do this for digital detoxification in 2025,” said Sydney Stanback, global trends and knowledge in Pinterest. “We see a clear shift towards slower and more deliberate lifestyles through the orientation of garden parties, accession to book clubs or the time in nature.
