On Kickstarter, people were really excited; it grossed $1.8 million. Now the company is back with a new offering, the Freedom-X, a “multi-position chair” with a built-in desk and cup holder, as well as fold-down armrests.

Does anyone think this chair will last long? If you read the comments on MagicH's campaign page, you'll find some brutal feedback. Let's just say you won't be passing this chair down to your grandchildren; Several buyers report mechanical failures after about six months.

Nevertheless, Freedom-X has once again captivated the crowdfunding masses. While Newtral only needed $10,000 to get this thing off the ground, at press time it was $780,000+, with over a month left to commit. Precautionary measure.
