Portland, Ore. (Katu) – The historical courthouse in downtown Portland will soon be for sale.
The US General Services Administration (GSA) made the announcement on Thursday.
Gus J. Solomon's US court building is located in the SW Main Street and the SW 6th Avenue. It is now included in the Trump management plan to optimize the government's real estate portfolio.
The GSA report states that the sale will help to avoid more than $ 76 million in costs to modernize the 90-year-old building.
The seven -story building will be officially on the market in June.
