Siemens Turbo -Ladungs -Dolleiner- und PCB design with AI

At the 2025 Design Automation Conference, Siemens Digital Industries Software presented its AI improved tool set for the EDA design flow today. During the entire event, Siemens shows how artificial intelligence (AI) improve productivity, accelerate the time to the EDA industry market and enable customers to explore innovation options at the rapidly increasing pace that the market demands.

Siemens is demonstrating a new EDA Ai System that was specially developed for semiconductor and PCB design environments. The specially built EDA AI system offers safe, extended and acting AI functions and offers unprecedented adaptation functions and seamless integration over the entire EDA workflow.

“We invest strategically in the development of sophisticated AI solutions in the industrial quality that specializes in the unique complexity of EDA. This accumulated specialist knowledge forms the technological basis that enables our customers to market the breakthrough of Semiconductor and PCB design for the EDA software for digital industry.” Revolutionize how design teams work and heralds in a future in which generative and agent AI functions are seamlessly integrated into every aspect of the EDA workflow. ”

Provision of openness, security and adaptability in the entire EDA workflow

With the new EDA Ai system, customers can integrate their own EDA data and create custom workflows with the help of extended AI, with which teams can provide AI, where it supplements the greatest value -which improves acceptance and competitiveness without disturbing the workflows. With corporate security, adaptable access control and flexible provision options (on site or cloud), Siemens delivers data protection entirely in the secure data centers of the customers. In addition, it provides a strong data swinging effect with a centralized multimodal data lake, which increases productivity through every interaction and at the same time supports various AI models, including large and small language models as well as mechanical and reinforcement learning.

Use NVIDIA AI technologies to further accelerate the EDA workflows

In addition to the internal infrastructure and third-party models, the EDA AI system from Siemens also supports Nvidia Nim Microservices and Nvidia Llama Nemotron models. NVIDIA NIM enables the scalable provision of inferior models in cloud and local environments, which supports real-time tool orchestration and multi-agent systems. Lama Nemotron adds a high context argument and a robust tool calling to obtain more intelligent automation in the entire EDA workflow.

“AI agents can dramatically increase productivity for complex electronic design automation in order to support engineers in layout optimization, simulation and review and to free engineers to focus on creative problem solutions and advanced design challenges,” said Tim Costa, Senior Director of CAE and CUDA-X at NVIDIA. “With NVIDIA NIM Microservices and Lama Nemotron argumentation models, Siemens EDA can accelerate the development of tomorrow's most complicated electronic systems.”

Activate AI functions in the entire EDA portfolio of Siemens

Aprisa ™ AI software: APRISA AI is a fully integrated technology in Aprisa's digital implementation solution, which enables AI functions and methods of the next generation across RTL-to-GDS. The skills include the exploration of AI designs that are optimized for a specific design for electricity / power / surface (PPA), as well as integrated generative AI assists that provide referenced examples and solutions.

With a natural language interface, which is integrated together with ready-to-production, fully adaptable and transportable solutions for the AI-generated A-genius, APRISA AI AI offers 10 times productivity, 3x faster time for bangout and 10 percent better PPA for digital designs for all process technologies, whereby it offers massive technical team design for the next generation of silicone design Accelerated.
