High Point – South Bay International focused on three key areas for the new product focus when preparing for the Spring High Point Market.
Sleep, Health and Wellness will focus on the company's showroom, since South Bay extends its offer by a number of products that should contribute to mobility, cooling and moisture control as well as sustainably friendly lines.
This spring, the second time in a row of the company marks on the market.
“At South Bay International we understand that wellness begins with restorative sleep,” said Toby Konetzny, CEO. “Our commitment to innovation is driven by the striving that consumers achieve a healthier and more fulfilling life.
The company's Sofinity Foam mattresses combine air flow, breathability, temperature regulation and ergonomic design.
“South Foam is different from everything that can be seen on the market before,” said Konetzny. “It is a great step forward by dealing with traditional challenges of the foam mattress such as overheating and inadequate support.”
South Bays Ecocore, an opening price point line, has environmentally friendly materials on a soybasis. The collection is intended to reduce the dependence on traditional base of the petroleum and at the same time provide a supportive sleeping area.
“Our Ecocore mattresses embody our conviction that sustainability and comfort can be seamlessly coexisted,” said Konetzny. “We have developed products that match modern consumer values and at the same time provide extraordinary sleep quality.
Allureluxe, designed with bamboo with charcoal with charcoal-infused storage foam and proprietary Lumi-Graphite bands from South Bay, helps to provide cooling and moisture regulation for first-class sleep experience. The company said that the Lumi bands offer more than 12 hours of cooling and the bamboo storage foam helps to regulate the temperature, absorb moisture and reduce smells.
“Allureluxe integrates luxurious materials with advanced cooling technologies and creates an unsurpassed sleep experience oriented by wellness,” said Edgar Carrasco, director of product development.
Since the concept of aging continues to grow, South Bay is expanding its product portfolio with solutions to the mobility needs of older adults. The adjustable chair bed in Ergocare and an adjustable bed base with a high low lift offer security, independence and comfort.
The Ergocare is intended to offer mobility options and comfort for people with restricted mobility. The bed changes between a sleeping position and a seated position with a rotating performance mechanism. The chair should rotate to help users switch from sitting to stand, and offers adjustable height options, inclination functions and foot tendency to support the cycle.
“The aging bed in Ergocare increases the aging experience considerably and facilitates independence, comfort and general well -being,” said Konetzny.
The basis developed with safety and comfort functions with low lift offers an adjustable height and position options to facilitate the in and out of bed. In addition to the height adjustability, the basis has the positioning of gravity, integrated massage and language activation
South Bay will also highlight its Active Chanign collection of mattresses, which have targeted spinal support and improved restoration through its reactive foam, copper-pace foam, a patented wedge support system and a airline layer for additional breathing.
“Retailers have the unique opportunity to offer their customers sleep solutions that prioritize wellness, sustainability and luxury,” said Konetzny. “We offer versatile and customizable options to ensure that our partners can effectively meet consumer preferences.”
The South Bay showroom is located on the venue Plaza, Space 510.
