The design company Heckeler Michels designs the Warp lamp for the Spanish brand Arkoslight. It is a trailer lamp defined by a shadow that comes from taut, which is a clear black textile. The lampshade of the Warp lamp uses this material, which is comparable to an elastic black textile, which carefully filters light through a soft and gradient style.
Instead of a light bulb, the light comes from a flat LED light source that is carefully embedded inside. Geckeler Michels explains: “Warp examines the fluid and transparency of the textile in a simple gesture.” Arkoslight continues, “the way its transparency is noticeable the light and tactile wealth of the textile at first glance.”
