Studio 72 Lighting Partners with Pink Lights for Hope to Brighten Survivor's Home | News from Washington Co.

RICHFIELD – Studio 72 Lighting, a full-service holiday lighting company based in Richfield, is partnering with Pink Lights for Hope this October. On Saturday, Studio 72 Lighting will decorate the West Bend home of Laura Martin, a stage 3B triple-negative breast cancer survivor and mother of two, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Pink Lights for Hope program donates pink lights and decorations to survivors and families currently receiving treatment. The lights and supplies will be donated to Martin and she can keep the display going as long as she wants.

“When we heard Laura’s story, we knew we had to help,” said Jordan Zielinski, owner of Studio 72 Lighting. “Our mission has always been to spread joy through light, and there is no better way to do that than to honor someone who has faced such a courageous battle. We are proud to partner with Pink Lights for Hope to light up their home this October. As someone whose father is currently battling cancer, this cause is especially important to me and our team.”

Martin received the diagnosis just four weeks after the birth of her second daughter. She endured more than a year of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and immunotherapy while working full-time and caring for her young children. Despite the challenges, she remained determined to inspire her family and community. As part of “Pink Lights for Hope,” Studio 72 Lighting will install a pink light display at Martin’s home to celebrate survivors and raise awareness for breast cancer.

“It would be incredibly encouraging to install lights,” Martin wrote in her contribution to Pink Lights for Hope. “We could really use some light, beauty and love in our lives.”
