For Simonpietri, the concept of warm minimalism (in contrast to a strict minimalism of the past) is the most remarkable change in the 21st century. “Natural and nubbe textures such as bed linen and mohairs as well as earthy, tonal colors create the same airy feeling for which minimalist design is known, but the more contemporary approach is to warm it up with texture and well -equipped soft colors.”
