It has been 100 years since Art Deco has emerged as a design phenomenon, and although during this time we found in our houses and on screens that his legacy has drawn our attention in a TV series during this time when using the trend.
HacksA show that extends from locations (Las Vegas, Los Angeles and most recently in Singapore) and the design sensitivity has prioritized this luxurious design scheme in its last season.
'Art Deco always connected to Los Angeles unique, and I wanted the la season of Hacks First with the bones of this iconic movement, 'says Rob Tokarz, the show's production designer. “It is also a style that we associate with Deborah Vance – woven into your second season tour bus and referred again during the roast in season 3.”
Rob continues: “For the late night, Deco became the core structure, with everything else to improve and support them. The production designer also played in the world structure when it came to Deborahs (also known as Jean Smart) at home and around the changing room, and a shadow played a major role, especially in all her rooms.
'We have always pointed out to certain pallets HacksEspecially with Deborah, «he tells us.
“I would like to put them against frosty, playful blue and soft, cool pink and lavender. For the Late -night -set -set, the broader color history in this cool blue leaned on stage and in the connective tissue of the many offices that we built or hindered. In the meantime, Deborah's personal rooms were shaped by Rosa and Lavender,” he explains.
'Your office and your repair room shared a lavender tone and a structured, patterned wallpaper that led over both. And when she got out for her monologue, I wanted the curtain to feel like an invitation into her world and opened it against a sparkling wall of sequins. '

The nature of the show is dazzling and glamorous. So it is no surprise that many of the luxurious presented in the interiors are when they come. This is true in season 4, in which an influencer character (dance nut) lives in a wasteful home. It turned out that the opulent amenities of the room served several purposes.
“For Dance Mom's house, we initially started an estate that was already luxurious, with extensive prospects that did a lot of work for us,” said Rob.
“Our goal was to use the border between credible overconsum and full camp. The result was a room that felt authentically high quality, but urged far enough to become” too much “, and emphasized the comedy in its rise and autumn. In a turn of the efficient television film, we used the basement of the house as a spa of Kayla and as a Singapore -Karaoke room -the only thing that was not shot in Singapore in Singapore. '
