Choosing the perfect office or gaming chair is not easy, but the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro ergonomic chair makes the choice easier. The mix of comfort and style makes it ideal for home or office use when sitting for hours. I recently had the opportunity to try one out to see how well it suits me and my activities.
Sleek and modern design
This is not your typical bulky office chair. Instead, the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro has a seat and backrest made of mesh fabric and a chrome frame. The PU-coated armrests look a bit simple in comparison, but they are robust and comfortable.

The chair is available in black and white models and therefore fits easily into any interior. For my review I chose the black version. Personally, I think it looks rather high-tech, especially with the mesh.
Designed for the way you sit
How many times have you tried an office chair only to feel cramped? It is too stiff, too soft or does not move with you. You are forced to sit in one direction and that's all.
What I love about the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro is that it adapts to your movements and adapts to your preferred sitting position. Do you prefer a more upright posture? No problem. Would you like to sit back a little while playing? You are ready.
The chair offers several ways to customize it to customize your seating experience:
- Seat depth adjustable – The 20-inch seat slides forward about an inch to provide a little more space without sacrificing comfort and support.
- Increase seat height – It is designed for heights between 1.50 m and 1.80 m. Simply adjust the backrest by up to 10.8 cm to create a higher backrest.
- Sit back – While leaning back is probably not a good idea when working, it is comfortable when playing. Recline up to 135 degrees while still receiving excellent back support.
- Adjustable armrests – The 6D armrests can be adjusted forward/back, in/out, up/down and even at an upward angle. They are also tailored to your lying position.

- Adjust the headrest – I hate static headrests. They never seem to work for me. This can be adjusted up/down, forward/back and rotated to achieve the perfect position.
No matter how I adjusted the chair, I still had the same support, which impressed me. Additionally, all controls are conveniently located on the right side, directly under the seat, making it easy to change settings quickly.

Breathable mesh that adapts
One problem I have with the typical leather or fabric office chairs is that they get hot. After sitting for more than eight hours, I don't want to get up and see sweat on my chair. The breathable mesh fabric on the backrest and seat of the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro keeps me cool the entire time I sit.
I also have hot flashes. I need a chair that won't make me even hotter. For once, my chair actually helps me cool down quicker, so that's an unexpected but very welcome benefit.

What's even better is that the chair adapts to my back. The triangular frame is designed to flex and adapt to the contours no matter how you move. I have a hard time sitting completely still, and this chair was able to keep up with my fidgeting, even when I dropped something and bent down to pick it up.
Not only the back is contoured, but also the headrest. The curved design provides full support and reduces pressure on my neck. In fact, after just a few days of using the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro, I no longer had my usual neck pain.

Full support for back and bottom
Far too often I see ergonomic chairs that only focus on the back or the buttocks – but not both. I need full support, not just partial. A wide W-shaped cushion gives me plenty of wiggle room and allows me to stay seated for hours without any problems.
Additionally, additional lumbar support (also made of mesh) ensures that my back remains properly aligned even when leaning back. What I really didn't expect was the Body Movement Tracking System. Support bars near the base of the backrest hold the lumbar support in place as I move, providing optimal support.

Assembly required
I know that having to disassemble your chair into many pieces and then assemble it may not be your idea of a fun day. However, assembly only takes about 15 minutes and the instructions are pretty clear. Plus, all screws, washers, etc. are labeled, eliminating any guesswork.

Due to the weight (just over 55 pounds), I recommend having someone help you assemble it. It's much easier to hold heavier components upside down and screw them in with extra hands.
The hardest part for me was aligning the seat and backrest with the rolling base. While the wheels roll smoothly, the last thing you need is the base rolling away as you keep the heaviest part of the chair in the air.
A few disadvantages
Overall, I love the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro. It's incredibly comfortable, rolls smoothly and gives me support where I need it. However, I wasn't impressed with the armrests. Yes, they are adjustable, but they move way too easily for my taste. Just as I'm getting them adjusted the way I want, I elbow one too hard and it stands upright or pushed to the side.

Better locking on the armrests would be a wonderful improvement. And for me there's really no need for them to move at so many different angles.
The lumbar support also takes some getting used to. I know it's supposed to provide extra support, but at first it feels too stiff. A few adjustments to the seating position helped a lot, but it was much stiffer than the lumbar cushion I'm used to.
