“Pooram from all arms”, Thrissur Pooram will develop on the historic Vadakkunnathan Temple site on the historic Vadakkunnathan Temple area on May 6th. As always, Lakhs is expected to color the 200-plus festival from the whole of the state and beyond. Today is the day for “Pooramamambaram” or the proclamation of the festival, for which the popular Jumbo Ernakulam Sivakumar opened the “Thekke Gopuram” of the temple, which the idol of Naithalakkavu Bhagavathy.

Kanimangalam Sastha through the southern Gopuram and Karamukku Karthiyani Devi, Choorakkottukavu Durga Devi, Ayyanthole Karthiyani Devi and Naithalakavu Bhagavathi. Here are times for important upcoming events of this year's Thrissur Pooram.

Star Jumbos you should pay attention to
1) Ernakulam Sivakumar – He takes the 'Thidambu' from Naithalakkavilamma for 'Poora Vilambaram' Ceremny.
2) The elefantukavu ramacandran – the elephant will wear the idol of the Chembokavu Karthyani Bhagavathy.
3) Guruvayur nandhan – the idame will wear the idamekavu bhagavathy for Elanjithaara Mellanjitom

4) Thiruvambady Chandrasekahran – will wear the idol by Thiruvambady Bhagavathy for Kudamattom and Madhathil Varavu.
5) Paramekavu Kasinathan – Bhagavathys Idol will wear for Arattu.
Pambady Rajan, Pallawangara Arjunathan, Kuttankulatly Arjunathan, Bastin Vianayasundar, Thhadatavila Vianayasundar, Thhadathavila Rajunan and Koodalmanickyam are some of the other prominent elephants for the event. The fitness test of the elephants takes place toietay.

Foreign gallery in the Pooram
Foreign tourists in Kerala can enjoy the Armeam free of charge from a “foreigner” gallery set up for them at the event. You just have to book seats over DTPC. You must present the necessary documents. Admission is on the Pooram Day on the 12th century. You can find more information here.

Thrissur Pooram Expo
The exhibition “Aana Chamayam” with the ornaments of elephants that take part in the festival began on May 3, Saturday. It will be until the end of the month. It has over 180 stands with more than 70 pavilions, including from state institutions such as the police from Kerala, ISRO, BSNL, consumption tax department, Farm Information Bureau and the NCC. Robotics Animal Display, Super Reality 5D Dome Theater, cultural programs and more are pending. The entrance fee is RS 40 on regular days and on the Pooramam Day and on the days before and then 50 rupees. You can find more information here.
