Sometimes I am just about getting big or going home!
A rounded room needs this large statement to make a wow moment. Sometimes they need it on a wall to pull their eye into a room and welcome them to the room. Sometimes it is necessary to compensate for the weight of an associated large piece. And sometimes I prefer something big to fill a room instead of a collection of objects.

I want to talk about works of art this week. The use of large works of art in design is an effective way to increase a space from usually to exceptional. Fold printed, oversized pieces draw attention, put up the mood and serve as striking focal points! I tend to buy for oversized art for my shop, because I have the feeling that so many design and furniture stores decide the smaller statement pieces in which art is affected.
As I have discussed before, art can sometimes be added or sometimes helped when adding or sometimes creating the topic. Perhaps the topic of art creates the topic, or maybe it is the color scheme.

I work a lot in Aiken. And Aiken is known for horses. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “The eyes point to the ancient of the soul.” As part of a striking horse history, this work of art shows an exclusive black and white portrait with layered white matting under glass and a simple satin -like black frame. It measures 46 x 34.

Sometimes a big work of art can be expensive, especially if you want it to be framed. The frame alone can break the bank! Just look at a canvas on the wall. You will still have your focus. Maybe you paint the wall on which art hangs to act as a “frame” for the piece or just to earth art.
