The office furniture company Autonomous, founded by CEO Duy Huynh in 2015, initiated its first introduction to intelligent, technically capable designs with the start of a standing rice on Kickstarter. From there, the company's offers expanded to everything that a distant or hybrid worker needs for a well-equipped working operation, from ergonomic chairs to 3D printed films to AI supercomputers. In recent times, Autonomous performed an entire work area, a plug-and-play back office called Workpod.
Here the product manager of companies, Brody Slade, explains more about the new office for Prefab and what distinguishes between other work areas that you can put in your garden.
Autonomous, which started in 2015 with office furniture, now offers a backyard office called the Workpod, a tiny modular work area that can be adjusted.
What does your basic model cost and what does these prices include?
The basic model work pod costs $ 18,900 and offers a rough floor area of 102 square foot. This includes a modular, environmentally conscious design, which is delivered in three large boxes with all components and tools for self -installation. We prioritize sustainable materials and efficient design to minimize the environmental impact. The price covers the product itself, while shipping, taxes and professional installation are separated due to different customer locations. We also offer smart design options such as the integrated solar plate and energy-efficient lighting.
The design that emphasizes the energy efficiency includes weatherproof siding, a single outer plug to connect the device, and six adjustable basic options to enable easy installation.
What properties let their prefab take off from the others?
- Fast, environmentally friendly installation: The modular design with adjustable foundations enables quick setting up on different terrain, minimizing disorders of the locations and the use of sustainable foundation solutions.
- Intelligent, finished functionality: Integrated, energy-efficient electrical systems, optional intelligent ergonomic furniture and advanced climatonity ensure a plug-and-play work area.
- Sustainable durability: Seven-layer walls offer superior sound insulation and climate control, with recycled and renewable materials being used for increased durability and reduced environmental obligation.
A standard workpod interior has a bookshelf and an electronic cabinet. A furnished model is delivered with an intelligent desk, an ergonomic chair, an file cabinet, an anti-fat mat and a cable shell.
Where is the prefababa currently available?
We send our work pods in the adjacent US American American American camps in California and New York to minimize transit distances and reduce our CO2 footprint. We examine options to sustainably expand our reach.
With structural wood, multi -layered plywood, honeycomb paper and spirited glass, every workpod is soundproof and thermally isolated.
Is your design currently in the US communities?
Based on our experience, the workpod is generally considered more than dandruff than as a permanent structure, since it is not based on a permanent foundation, does not require hardwire for an electrical system and is less than 120 square foot. Due to these factors, approval is usually not necessary. However, we always recommend that customers comply with the specific regulations for their area.
The Workpod Foundation has a weight capacity of 2.9 tons.
Are there plans to expand to different parts of the country/world?
We actively expand our reach in the USA and research international markets. Our expansion strategy focuses on sustainable growth and includes environmentally friendly manufacturing and logistics to minimize our environmental impact.

How long can a customer expect to take the process after taking a deposit?
After receiving full payment and if the workpod is in stock, we ensure that fast shipping within two to four working days via private delivery services. We prioritize efficient logistics to minimize the waiting times and the effects of the environment.
The workpod can run for five hours for five hours and up to eight with battery stream.
Which aspects of an installation do you manage?
We offer comprehensive installation instructions. Customers are responsible for local permits and the preparation and installation on site that DIY or Contractor can be led. We advise you to comply with local ecobuilding codes as well as other local regulations and codes.
The workpod is available in five designs between 80 and 105 square foot. The line -up contains two models that switch between the battery and the sun current.
What aspects of design can a customer adapt?
We offer extensive adjustments, including dimensions, handles, intelligent ergonomic furniture, energy -efficient alternating electricity units, intelligent locks, windows with double floors and improved insulation with environmentally friendly materials. We are open to further adjustments and focus on sustainable and intelligent design to meet individual requirements.
