Zotac has officially launched its new Solid Core series of graphics cards with the Nvidia Blackwell series GPUS. The line -up includes four models: the RTX 5080 Solid Core OC, RTX 5080 Solid Core, RTX 5070 Ti Solid Core OC and RTX 5070 Ti core.
What distinguishes these graphics cards is the relatively slim cooling system. While the standard models for solids form 3.0 -coolers with 3.5 expansion facilities have 3,5 expansion facilities, the solid core models have reduced cooling systems that only cover 2.5 slots. This is a remarkable function because most high-end graphics cards require three or more expansion facilities. The slimmer design makes these cards well suited for a variety of PC builds where the space can be restricted. Zotac confirms that the Solid Core series contains a steam chamber, LED indicators to display the proper cable connection to the 12V-2 × 6 performance connection, and all functions available in the original fixed models.
The RTX 5080 Solid Core OC has 10,752 Cuda cores and a cross-factory GPU clock of 2640 MHz, while its standard model works at 2617 MHz. Both variants are equipped with 16 GB GDDR7 memory, which are designed with 30 GBit / s in a 256-bit memory bus. These models have a power consumption assessment of 360 W and require 850 -W power supply.
The RTX 5070 Ti Solid Core models contain 8,960 Cuda cores, whereby the OC variant at 2482 MHz runs compared to the 2452 MHz of the standard model. These cards also contain 16 GB GDDR7 memory, which are operated at 28 Gbit / s. The RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards have a lower power consumption of 300 W and recommend a 750 -W power supply.
All RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti models from the Solid Core series share several common specifications. Each model is equipped with a 12V-2 × 6 performance connection, a PCI Express 5.0 X16 interface, three DisplayPort 2.1B connections and an HDMI connection. All models have identical physical dimensions: 303.5 mm × 115.8 mm × 55.7 mm (11.9 “× 4.6” × 2.2 “).
For users who need an even more compact solution, Zotac also offers the RTX 5070 festival body model with a height of only two expansion facilities.
The availability of the solid core graphics cards remains an open question. It is likely that these new products like other GeForce RTX 50 models will be in short supply.
